Study of NaOH-steel slag double alkali sintering flue gas desulphurization process

  • The influencing factors of flue gas desulfurization rate by using both sodium hydroxide and steel slag as desulfurization agents were studied in bubbling reactor. The results exhibited that the desulfurization rate can remain over 80% for long time under the optimum desulfur-ization conditions: reaction time was 2 h, steel slag amount was 40 g, SO2 inlet concentration was 2 400 mg/m3, grain size was over 200 mesh, circular desulfurizing liquid pH kept between 7~8, concentration of Na+ and volume of circular desulfurizing liquid were 0.5 mol/L and 500 mL, repectively. At the same time, the desulfurization mechanism was also disscussed.
