The migration rules indicated that nonaqueous nitrobenzene was not migrating directly in the vertical, on one hand, nonaqueous nitrobenzene migrated to the lower and finally to the bottom of the aquifer, on the other hand, it migrated with the groundwater, in a whole, it was the lateral migration in the groundwater. The releasing rules showed that nonaqueous nitrobenzene would release much nitrobenzene to the groundwater while migrating in aquifer. the released nitrobenzene flowed with the groundwater in the same way, and the nonaqueous nitrobenzene both in the pollution area and in the bottom of the aquifer would release again.

Migration and releasing rules of non-aqueous nitrobenzene in aquifer

Fund Project:

Abstract: A simulated tank experiment was carried out to investigate the migration and releasing rules of nonaqueous nitrobenzene in aquifer.
