  • The flocculation conditions and performance of the treatment of kaolin suspensions by using combination of rejuvenated EM liquid and inorganic high molecular flocculants PAC & PFS were studied. The results showed that the conditions of combination rejuvenated EM liquid and chemical flocculant was weak acid and alkali environment. The best combination volume proportion of PAC (PFS) and rejuvenated EM liquid wasVPAC∶VEM=0.6 mL∶2 mL(VPFS∶VEM=1.0 mL∶3.0 mL). Flocculation rate of the former was 91.2%,, it was better than the latter, which was 87.6%. At the same time, it could not only result in the reduction of residual metallic elements in treated water and flocculants usage but also low cost in wastewater treatment. The results showed that it could reach a higher level of water quality.
