  • The combustion characteristics of two typical compositions of municipal solid waste(MSW) were studied at different heating rates by thermo gravimetric analysis. The analyzed results indicated that the combustion characteristics are different with the different heating rates; the TG temperature of typical compositions is increased as the heating rate added. The DTG results are correlated with the characters of two typical compositions. The most speed of the plastic and latex types is increased as the heating rate added, the most speed of the paper types are unchanged as the heating rate added.
