Abstract
The laboratory scale treatment of furfural wastewater by ultrasound wave and hydrogen peroxidhas was studied, with COD removal efficiency of 87%. The effects of the process’s parameters (reaction time, temperature, wastewater concentration, frequency and power of supersonic, dosages of H2O2 and FeSO4) were also investigated. The combination is one kind of clean, easy-operated and low-cost purified method for this kind of wastewater.
