  • An atrazine-degrading strain, which grew with atrazine as the nitrogen source, was isolated from the top of black soil (0~10 cm) in cold area of long-term applying atrazine. The strain was designated as Arthrobacter sp. DNS10 according to the sequence of 16S rRNA. It is capable of removing 100 mg/L atrazine in medium about 99.41% within 24 h with 108 CFU/mL inoculation. The results of single factor analysis show the optimal conditions for growth and degradation ability of DNS10. The range of temperature is 25~35℃, pH is 5.0~8.0, medium salinity is 0.1%~2% and the maximum resistance concentration of atrazine is 1 200 mg/L. Furthermore, based on orthogonal experiments, the optimal combination scheme for the growth and degradation ability of DNS10 is that temperature is 30℃, pH is 7.5 and medium salinity is 0.5%. The primary and secondary order of environmental factors that influence the degradation ability of DNS10 is that: temperature>salinity>pH.
