  • In order to promote the recycling of water-granulated slag of blast furnace, sound-absorbing performance and mechanical property of the porous material, which was made of granulated furnace slag through pressing formation, using silica fume or cement as caking agent, were studied. The results showed that the material had good sound-absorption properties with average sound absorption coefficient over 0.70 and compressive strength over 3.0 MPa.
