Abstract: The mother liquor of dyeing wastewater was treated by the joint process of ferric-carbon electrolysis-Fenton oxidation-coagulation sedimentation-biological contact oxidation. The results of the tests showed that the combined process had high removal efficiency on the treatment of strong acid mother liquor of dyeing wastewater. In the ferric-carbon microelectrolysis unit, the colority and COD removal rates were 77.2% and 48.7%,respectively, the value of BOD5/COD could reach 0.30 when the the volume ratio of ferric to carbon was 2.5∶1, the aeration rate was 90 L/h,the HRT was 80 min.In the Fenton oxidation unit, the colority and COD removal rates were 83.6% and 77.4%, respectively, the value of BOD5/COD could reach 0.48 when the dosing quantity of 30% H2O2 was 3 mL/L,pH was 3.5, HRT was 80 min. In the end, after the coagulation sedimentation and biological contact oxidation process, the total removal rates of colority and COD were above 99.8% and 99.2%, respectively.
