  • How to treat oil recovery wastewater containing polyacrylimide efficiently is a difficult problem in tertiary oil recovery production in recent years. A combined process with mobilebed biomembrane reactor and O3/UV/H2O2 oxidation for treatment of oil recovery wastewater containing polyacrylimide was studied. Experimental results showed that mobilebed biomembrane reactor could remove oil carbonates in the wastewater efficiently, but it had almost no effect on polyacrylimide. O3/UV/H2O2 oxidation could degrade and eliminate polyacrylimide. The water quality of oil recovery wastewater containing polyacrylimide treated by the combined process can meet the requirement of first level in wastewater general discharged standard.
