  • The thermodynamics and the kinetics of the phosphorus adsorption on feldspar calcined at 500℃ for 2 hours were studied by the sets of equilibrium and timebased experiments under various conditions. The results showed that adsorption isotherms of phosphorus were modeled by Freundlich model, and the parameters indicated that the adsorption of phosphorus on feldspar was strongly dependent on tempreture and the adsorption of phosphorus increased with increasing tempreture of the system. Furthermore, the adsorption process reached equilibrium in 60 minutes, and the kinetics adsorption of phosphorus can be described by pseudosecondorder rate very well.

Abstract: The thermodynamics and the kinetics of the phosphorus adsorption on feldspar calcined at 500℃ for 2 hours were studied by the sets of equilibrium and timebased experiments under various conditions.
