  • Using wastewater of recycle paper system as raw material, membrane filtration process with 0.2 μm ceramic MF and hydrophobic PS-UF with 50 000 Dalton was used to treat the recycle paper wastewater. The results revealed that the COD removal rate could reach 84.6% through the combined process. The recycle paper wastewater treated with MF-UF combined process met the paper industry discharge standards for water pollutants. According to the nature of the recycle paper wastewater,a feasible rinsing method was obtained. The MF and UF membranes water flux recovery rate were 85% and 80%, respectively.
