Application of immerged MBR technology for hoggery wastewater treatment

  • Hoggery wastewater containing a high organic matter and ammoniac concentration was treated by immerged MBR and A/O process in this experiment. The results showed that when inlet concentrations of COD,BOD5,SS and NH3-N in the hoggery wastewater were 9 100 mg/L,3 788 mg/L,4 490 mg/L and 450 mg/L respectively, the outlet water reached the DB 31/199-1997 firstclass standard with the parameters of COD53-N<5 mg/L.This immerged MBR technology can be efficiently used for wastewater treatment in livestock production.
