  • Based on matter-element analysis and applied fuzzy weight and AHP, matter-element model based on fuzzy weight was established to evaluate groundwater quality. The model was applied to evaluate groundwater quality of Zhangji, which was a main well field in Xuzhou, and twenty wells were selected. The results showed that 95% of the water samples in the well field could be rated either level Ⅱ or Ⅲ according to the water quality standard. The groundwater samples were of good quality and fit the quality standard of potable water. The results were as the same as projection pursuit model and fuzzy probability model.
