  • The content of COD in wastewater was determined by using the method of amended HACH which without silver but with XS-LP as catalyst. The results showed that this method was comparable to the standard method used in China in terms of accuracy and precision, were less than 10% and 3% separately, at ratio of A and B was 1∶2, gross was 12 g/L. For wastewater in nature, the linear correlation coefficient with standard method is about 0.9951 and 0.9874, accord with the requirement of the monitoring skill standard.
