Abstract

The heavy metals from municipal solid waste(MSW)incinerator fly ashes are important factors to lead environmental pollution.Through investigation on the treatment by MSW incinerators,two effective chelating agents for extraction of heavy metals in fly ashes from MSW incinerators were found.The further analytical studies found that the optimum extraction time for the chelating agents was 20 hours after the fly ashes melted；the optimum pH values were 3～10；the optimum concentration of solution was 1.5%.
