Abstract: SO2 pollution contributions of whole industries and different industries in Zhundong economic development area were investigated by air-quality model MM5-CALPUFF, in which 2014 and 2020 were selected as typical years, and the industries were classified into four categories. The results showed that SO2 concentration would increase by 2 to 8 times than 2014 after the whole planning enterprises putting into operation in 2020, and in the areas such as Qitai county, Laojun temple, Silicified wood points et al., the SO2 concentration increasing multiples were bigger. The descending order of contribution rates was electrolytic aluminum sector, power sector, chemical industry, coal mining industry in 2014, and the ranges of contribution rates were 50% to 85%, 6% to 29%, 3% to 23%, 1% to 21%,respectively. The descending order in 2020 would be the same as in 2014, but the contribution rates would change, and the ranges of contribution rates were 47% to 83%,12% to 41%, < 10%, < 10%,respectively. The development area planned to establish coal and electricity base, and develop power enterprises, therefore, the contribution rate of power industry would rise in 2020.
